India, being one of the world's fastest growing automobile industries, provides a solid growth platform for auto component industry. De-licensing in 1991 brought revolutionary changes in the industry and since then it has developed as a thrust sector of India. The industry currently has 600 organized companies, which account for 77% of value added in the industry.
