Report Highlights
Repaying shareholders and the society with good performance is an enterprise's mission and foundation for development. To regulate strategic management, effectively translate strategy into implementation and monitor implementation, build corporate brands, and boost core competitiveness, enterprises are taking performance management notion and methods as indispensable support for their business strategy.
Along with the development of information technology, Chinese enterprises started to adopt international performance management tools and methods. Enterprises' performance management has undergone the phases of financial indexes, personal performance, performance assessment and performance management. Enterprise performance has become part of the index system used by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to assess central enterprises.
In the face of changes and competition in market as well as challenges, we release the 2008-2009 Annual Report on the Performance Management of China' Enterprises, which helps domestic enterprises grasp more accurately the development trend and laws governing the development of performance management.
