Summary

Germany, under its Nuclear Exit Law, has a policy to phase out nuclear power by the year 2021. However, the new German coalition government is reconsidering the decision to revise the earlier nuclear phase out policy and is planning to extend the life span of the current operating reactors. The decision to delay the planned phase out of nuclear power will benefit the nuclear industry by evading the decommissioning costs and creating a sustained market for the nuclear service providers and equipment manufacturers.

Scope

-Installed power capacity by company for 2009
-Analysis of decomissioning costs over the 2010-2025 period, with review of key shutdowns planned by 2012
-Benefits of phase out delays on the German Nuclear industry

Reasons to buy

-Design market entry and business strategies through insightful analysis of the German nuclear industry
-Understand market dynamics and factors related to phasing out of the nuclear reactors
